Our Kingdom Go.

Sermon based on Matthew 6:10, from the Lord's Prayer:

“May your kingdom come.

May your will be done

on earth as it is in heaven."

Discusses how God’s kingdom is at hand when we seek God first. God’s kingdom is at hand when we set EGO aside. God’s kingdom is at hand within communities of grace.

Teaches us we should strive to "Do God’s work, not God’s job," and the concept of "Thy kingdom come (& my kingdom go)."

Touches on Kadosh (קָדוֹשׁ): the Hebrew concept Holy, Sacred; to be set apart for God; “what is left after the threshing.”

Additional scripture references: Proverbs 16:3; Matthew 5:3; Matthew 20:1-16; Luke 17:20-21; 1 Peter 1:22-23. Secondary sources include writings by Karl Barth, Leo Tolstoy, and Saint Augustine.
